2000, the Industria Argentina Co. manufactured a new set of Basuritas titled
"Basuritas and Monsters". The set covers several cards of the 1st,
2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th U.S. series, not in any particular order
plus some original artwork found in no other series. The cards measure
2 1/4 X 2 3/4 inches, and are non-die cut stickers. The Argentina
set is a direct reproduction of the Chile cards and have a great gloss finish
with a new red border as well as a chase card set and holochrome chase card
set that measure 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches. In 2001, this red-bordered set
was re-released twice with minor changes and additions to the sets minus the
chase cards. In 2003, a new Basuritas set titled "Basuritas 2" was
released with a yellow border and in 2004 a "Basuritas 3".
